I've loved making jewellery for sometime now, mainly for family and friends- regularly designing earrings or necklaces to match specific outfits for weddings and parties.
However it wasn't until one fateful day early in 2006 that I realised I could maybe make a business out of it.
My future sister in law and I went shopping for wedding dresses to a large specialist shop in Birmingham. While she was trying on the dresses I was looking at the accessories and was horrified to see quite simple tiaras costing more than £100!
"Go on then, if you think you can do better you can make mine!" says sister in law.
Never one to refuse a challenge I set about designing and making the 1st Sally Sparkle tiara. The Rebecca tiara was born!
I'm a mum of 2 and work from my home. Therefore my overheads are small and my jewellery is priced accordingly.
Most of my designs can be adapted by using different coloured crystals, pearls and beads. (Swarovski crystals come in almost every colour under the sun!) I am happy to send up to 6 samples free of charge for you to ensure that the colours are exactly what you want. Please contact me for further details.
Necklaces and bracelets can be shortened or lengthened. Earrings with hook fittings can be changed to a more discreet post fitting. |
